19 hours in a cafe

Ames Iowa! All i have to say is Leslie Hall . She is a famous celeb in Iowa. She wears Gem Sweaters and has her own cd. CHECK IT OUT. In other news Ames was a big vacation for Bike and Build because 1. We only rode 47 miles to get there and 2. We had a build day the next day so we slept until 6am instead of 5am. We also spent about half our time there in this amazing cafe called Cafe Diem. They made the best smoothies plus they gave us free cookies.

The owners of a farm about 40 miles outside Ames gave us a real Midwest treat on the night of our build day. After gathering for a picnic full of tightrope walking and frisbee throwing we were driven to a beautiful farm for hayrides! And these were not just normal horses pulling the carriage, they were huge ginormous clydesdale's. We were so lucky! There is something about being pulled in a carriage during dusk just as the sun is setting and then seeing millions of fireflies in the dark. It was gorgeous. Once the ride was over, we were welcomed back on the farm with smores around the fire. I love you Iowa.
